Job Summary
Program, research, upgrade, purchase, install, and maintain all controls for manufacturing and facility equipment across the Marvin family of brands. Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and programmatic problems to ensure equipment and processes remain operational, while providing input for preventative maintenance rule sets. Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate the transfer of new equipment and technologies to the production floor, ensuring alignment with general specifications and electrical standards. Conduct research and testing on existing and new control systems to improve machine efficiency and support the design, implementation, and training needs of maintenance and operators.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent 4-year degree in a related field preferred
- Two or more years related experience/training required
- Ability to use electrical test equipment and hand tools
- Proficient ability to read and understand prints and schematics
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical and Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
- Working knowledge of PLC and Operator Interface programming languages is required
- Ability to travel as required
