Controls Engineer

Job Summary
Experienced Controls Engineer needed to lead the full lifecycle of controls projects for process equipment. Responsibilities include designing instrumentation and control systems, programming PLCs and HMIs, developing control panels, and supporting electrical system design. Involves field testing, commissioning, and startup activities, with travel to client sites. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience in design, programming, testing, and startup, plus strong troubleshooting and communication skills; PLC platforms (Rockwell, Siemens, Modicon) and HMI development are preferred, as is experience in food & beverage environments and a PE license (preferred, not required).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or related)
- 4+ years of relevant experience in controls engineering
- Ability to travel 30%
- PE license (preferred, not required)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
