Job Summary
Test and modify existing control systems while reviewing, revising, and improving procedures and documents. Analyze data to report results to management and staff, then collaborate with design engineers, operation engineers, purchasers, and internal staff on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality regulations while providing training and consulting support for new employees, technical staff, and customers. Develop new business proposals using proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, electrical schematics, and industrial robot programming. Work in a factory environment with regular standing, walking, and occasional lifting over 50 pounds, requiring close vision and color vision.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a four-year college or university
- Ability to write technical documents and business proposals
- Knowledge of Advanced Process Control (APC), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA)
- Basic communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have the ability to work successfully with computers and software, including specific experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, software related to Ladder Logic, Step 7, ASI Gateway
- Team player, organized, self-motivated, and able to prioritize
