Controls Engineer

Job Summary

Design and maintain control systems to ensure efficient operation of PCB manufacturing processes. Develop equipment to monitor and control engineering systems, implement productivity processes, and conduct analyses to identify areas for improvement. Program and configure control interfaces, perform regular maintenance checks, and troubleshoot components to ensure quality and safety. Collaborate across departments for system integration, lead continuous improvement activities, and provide training on new systems. Create and maintain documentation while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls System Engineering or a related field
  • Experience using industry standard tools and software such as CAD
  • Knowledge of programming HMI's
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience working as a controls engineer or in a related position
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Ability/flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and committed to driving excellence
  • Strong Understanding of computer programing and software development related to automated control systems
  • Must be able to legally work in the United States
  • Must be a U.S. person as defined in ITAR, 22 CFR 120.15 (U.S. Citizenship or Resident Alien Status)
  • Must be defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a) (20)

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Allen Bradley and Siemens
  • Experience working within the manufacturing industry
  • Working knowledge of printed circuit board manufacturing
