Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to support the manufacturing operation at a new facility, focusing on control systems, programming, and process improvements. Responsibilities include collaborating with corporate engineering, applying statistical methods for manufacturing estimates, and driving continuous improvement in equipment throughput and quality. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience, proficiency in various control systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley), and the ability to use technical diagrams and schematics.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of similar professional maintenance experience in a programming/process improvement role
- Internal subject matter expert in control systems (Siemen's PLC, Allen Bradley PLC, HMI, Motion Control Systems)
- Knowledge of electronics, electrical circuits, mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and programming
- Ability to interpret piping and instrumentation diagrams, equipment drawings, predictive maintenance reporting, hydraulic and electrical schematics
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency with CMMS software
- Strong analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Formal maintenance training including programming
