Controls Engineer

Troubleshoot PLC ladder logic, data handling functions, and automated equipment including I/O, sensors, and pneumatic circuits to improve uptime and plant reliability. Maintain and archive PLC documentation, machine controls drawings, and robotic programs while developing preventive maintenance schedules and implementing error-proofing requirements. Diagnose hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical system failures using root-cause problem-solving methods like 8D tasks, and contribute to continuous improvement strategies for equipment purchases and process changes. Work in the multi-disciplinary Plant Team to support maintenance goals, with flexible scheduling for 1st or 2nd shift rotations.
