Job Summary
As a Controls Embedded Software Architect for Thermo King, you will define and oversee modern software architectures for transport HVAC and refrigeration products, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering or related technical field
- 10 years of experience
- Proven experience architecting embedded controls solutions
- Experience in embedded software development and coding in various languages (C, C++, C#, Rust, Python)
- Experience with industrial connectivity protocols such as CAN, J1939, Modbus, MQTT, OPC-UA
- Excellent knowledge of UML, SysML, or MBSE for system modeling and design
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures
