Job Summary
Support electrical controls operational status throughout the production facility by reading schematics to install new equipment and troubleshooting 3-phase 480 volt power systems down to 24 volt DC. Wire machines to motor control centers and install variable frequency drives using diagnostic equipment such as laptops, meters, oscilloscopes, and VFD pendants. Requires experience with PLCs, HMIs, Modicon, and Wonderware in a manufacturing environment. Applicants must understand electrical distribution, communication networks, and wiring diagrams. Required Qualifications
- Understanding of 3 phase 480 volt power to 24 volt DC
- Able to use diagnostic equipment (lap top, meter, oscilloscope, VFD pendent, ect)
- Knowledge to read schematics to install new equipment and trouble shoot
- Able to wire machines to motor control center
- Able to install and set up variable frequency drives
- Electrical maintenance and controls experience in an manufacturing/industrial environment
- 3-Phase systems motor control
- VFD experience
- Experience with PLCc
- Experience with HMI
- Experience with Modicon
- Experience with Wonderware
- Experience with Alen Bradley Controls
- Working knowledge of electrical schematics
- Working knowledge of electrical distribution
- Working knowledge of communication networks
- Working knowledge of wiring diagrams
- Working knowledge of panel outlets
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with PLCc, HMI, Modicon, Wonderware, Alen Bradley Controls experience, preferred
