Controls Design Engineer

Job Summary
The Controls Design Engineer will prepare temperature control system wiring and installation drawings, collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers, and design systems based on bid proposals and specifications. Responsibilities include the timely execution of CAD drawings, making system design decisions to improve function and performance, researching and selecting products, soliciting bids from suppliers, and maintaining design documentation. Must possess strong design software skills, communicate effectively, and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in building controls/automation systems design.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in building controls/automation systems design
- Experience in construction, primarily Temperature Controls, HVAC or Electrical fields
- Strong design software skills (CAD, MS Office primarily Word and Excel)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Good written and oral communication skills
