Job Summary
Design and program innovative equipment control systems tailored to customer and company standards using Allen Bradley or Siemens PLC and HMI. Manage projects meticulously to align with strict timelines and budgets while collaborating with design teams to uphold safety standards. Diagnose and resolve machine control system issues to minimize rework and ensure seamless project execution. This onsite position in Walker, MI involves occasional travel to customer sites for installations and troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in the automation industry
- Allen Bradley or Siemens PLC and HMI programming experience
- Experience and skill in troubleshooting machine control system issues
- Self-starter
- Excellent communication abilities
- Willingness to travel as needs arise, on average 20%-30% per year
