Job Summary
Commission material handling logistics systems by performing on-site project commissioning that integrates mechatronic hardware and software to deliver automated customer solutions. Travel approximately 80% to various customer locations, Dematic offices, or manufacturing sites to identify problems as they occur and implement appropriate troubleshooting steps. Seek guidance on non-routine or complex equipment areas while providing regular status updates to leadership. Support reliability, performance, and volume testing, system start-up, Go-Live, and post Go-Live customer support for Dematic projects. Recommend ideas related to productivity improvement, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology
- Up to 2 years of successful experience in a related field
- Engineering Degree may be substituted for experience where applicable
- Proficient in or ability to learn reading computer-based engineering drawings
- Proficient in or ability to learn equipment technical specifications
- Proficient in or ability to learn troubleshooting techniques
- Proficient in or ability to learn testing equipment
