Job Summary
Building Intelligence Specialist role responsible for programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting Building Control systems per plans and specifications, with emphasis on delivering a cost-effective system that meets customer expectations. Provides detailed design communication to customers and HMS field installation team; serves as technical resource for installation team; reviews existing legacy systems for feasibility of integration or replacement. Requires Niagara N4/AX certification or substantial experience, building analytics, and proficiency in DDC programming and system integrations. Will lead and mentor technicians, communicate with customers and subcontractors, and may require travel and training commitments. Physical demands include lifting and climbing as part of site work. Location-based in Denver, CO with standard M-F schedule and potential on-call after hours.
Required Qualifications
- Niagara N4, AX, & Advanced N4/AX certified or well experienced with 10+ years related experience
- Experience with building analytics
- Knowledge of the HVAC industry or construction industry
- Proficient in all DDC system programming of all control systems and integrations
- Experience with integrating legacy control systems
- Ability to program and test programmable controllers, integration, network configurations and peer to peer support of systems
- Possess leadership skills to lead and mentor other project technicians
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain an insurable driving record
