Job Summary
Role involves startup, commissioning, and programming building automation and controls systems; duties include device testing, software programming, site assessments, and leading onsite project initiatives as the lead technician. Requires experience with Niagara, Johnson Controls, Trane, and Honeywell BMS platforms; strong customer-facing communication, ability to coordinate with subcontractors, document work, and maintain project schedules. Preferred education includes a High School Diploma or Equivalent; valid driver’s license and ability to pass background/drug checks; relocation assistance is provided.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum five (5) years of controls field experience
- Programming capabilities including Niagara platform, Johnson Controls, Trane and Honeywell Building Management Systems
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass background check & drug test
- Physical demands capable of handling heavy lifting and extensive standing/walking
- Ability to interpret control drawings, plans and sequence of operations
