Job Summary
Design, implement, and maintain automated control systems to optimize manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include designing and developing automated control systems for manufacturing equipment, analyzing specifications to define functional needs, providing technical expertise to develop complex manufacturing system solutions, maintaining and troubleshooting existing control systems, supporting manufacturing operations including robot programming and system modifications, collaborating with internal teams and vendors to achieve project goals, and generating reports and dashboards to monitor system performance and identify improvement opportunities. Emphasizes initiative, problem-solving, and strong communication in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (preferred)
- 4-6 years of experience as an engineer or in a leadership role within manufacturing (preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience with manufacturing systems automation, process control systems, or software development in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and change management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in project management methodologies
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
- Strong understanding of key manufacturing processes
- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- Proficient in computer skills and the ability to learn new software applications quickly
