Job Summary
Amtec Solutions Group seeks a Controls Automation Specialist with automation experience, focusing on electrical design, programming, and installation of PLCs and robotic systems. Requires proficiency in programming languages, analytical skills, and 2+ years of relevant experience. Travel may be necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient in PLC and/or robot programming languages
- Excellent analytical skills for design and troubleshooting
- 2+ years of automation experience
- PLC and HMI programming experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time
- Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
- Valid driver's license
- U.S. Citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- Designing pneumatic controls systems
- Electrical design experience
- AutoCAD experience
- AutoCAD Electrical 2009 and up
- Motoman, Fanuc, or ABB robot programming
- Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Toyopuc, Omron, and/or Mitsubishi PLC programming
- Industrial I/O network configuration
- Cognex and/or Keyence vision system programming
Additional Requirements
- Must be willing to travel up to 15% of the time
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
