Job Summary
Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting process for Czech entities while ensuring compliance with Czech GAAP, Group reporting standards, and IFRS requirements. Oversee consolidation adjustments, intercompany eliminations, and statutory finance activities to guarantee the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of financial information. Deliver meaningful financial analysis, variance reporting, and business insights that identify risks and support strategic planning through scenario analysis and KPI monitoring. Lead and coach the Czech Controlling team of three direct reports, manage the outsourced accounting provider, and build trusted partnerships with Corporate Finance and business stakeholders. Drive the simplification, standardization, and automation of finance processes to improve internal controls and reporting efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial controlling, accounting or audit
- Proven experience leading, coaching and developing a team
- Strong knowledge of Czech GAAP
- Working knowledge of IFRS and Group reporting standards
- Fluent in Czech/Slovak and English, both written and spoken
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with ERP or property management systems (e.g. Yardi Voyager / 7S platform)
