Supervise the full accounting cycle for major construction projects, preparing and analyzing monthly and annual financial statements while ensuring compliance with Canadian accounting standards. Analyze variances between actual results and forecasts to identify financial issues and propose solutions, while tracking labor, material, and subcontractor costs. Manage tax obligations including TPS/TVH and DAS, participate in external audits, and collaborate with external partners. Act as a financial partner to operations, supporting the accounting team and contributing to strategic business decisions. Requires a CPA, 5 to 8 years of experience in accounting or financial control, preferably in construction, with bilingualism in French and English. Salary is competitive with performance bonuses; location is Montreal.
