Job Summary
Monitor and manage daily financial transactions, cash flow, and account reconciliations across all store locations. Serve as the primary liaison with the external CPA/accounting firm for tax preparation, audits, and financial statement reviews. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for ownership while analyzing performance to identify trends and profitability improvements. Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Present clear, non-technical financial findings and strategic recommendations to ownership. This hands-on role requires balancing detailed bookkeeping with high-level advisory duties to support the financial direction of a growing wireless retailer.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial management
- Experience working directly with outside accounting firms or CPAs
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (or similar accounting software) and Microsoft Excel
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential financial information
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
