Job Summary

Controller will lead and oversee all accounting operations for WalkerHughes Insurance, directing accounting functions, financial reporting (annual statements and quarterly reports), internal controls, audits, and producer commission processes. Role includes budgeting, acquisition integration support, staff hiring and development, process and technology improvements, evaluating technical accounting issues, and partnering with BI teams to enhance financial reporting and analytics. Requires 7+ years of accounting experience, prior supervisory experience, and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration (CPA preferred). Insurance industry experience is a plus.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience (Controller, Senior Accountant, or similar)
  • Prior supervisory experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred
  • CPA preferred, but not required
