Job Summary
Controller role overseeing payroll for 300+ employees, financial statements and reporting (monthly, quarterly, annually), benefits administration, vendor/contracts management, compliance with federal/state requirements, and banking/treasury activities. Responsibilities include open enrollment coordination, 401(k) sponsorship, internal controls, accounts payable and vendor management, I-9/direct deposit onboarding, PTO tracking, and supporting accounting team with forecasting and policy implementation. Requires leadership, strong communication, multitasking, and expertise in banking processes, tax regulations, and multi-state payroll with a CPA/CA credential preferred. Location: Greenwood Village, CO (onsite).
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional accounting experience
- Strong understanding of banking processes and financial data analysis
- Knowledge of national and local tax regulations and compliance
- Experience managing payroll with emphasis on process optimization
- Demonstrated success in financial project management
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field
- CPA or CA certification
