Job Summary
Lead core accounting operations as Controller, overseeing treasury, cash processing and reporting; manage general journal entries, fixed asset accounting (depreciation/amortization), and GL reconciliations; ensure accurate month-end close, financial statements, variance analysis, and timely reporting; maintain and improve accounting procedures and internal controls while identifying efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities; contribute to accounting policy development and cross-functional initiatives; oversee sales tax processing and refunds accounting; participate in budgeting and financial planning; responsive to leadership with a hands-on, ownership-focused approach in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting; comfortable working onsite in Dallas, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or CMA preferred
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience in retail, manufacturing, or logistics environments is a plus
