Job Summary
Hands-on, on-site Controller responsible for the financial activities of the corporation, directing the preparation of current financial reports and forecasts, ensuring GAAP compliance, and advising executive leadership on budgeting and planning. Responsibilities include preparing all financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, governmental reports), comparing projections to actuals, reviewing planning processes, analyzing operations for reorganization or downsizing opportunities, coordinating with the President and executives on planning priorities, studying long-range economic trends impacting growth, and identifying expansion opportunities in new product areas. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (CPA designation preferred), 5-7 years of financial management experience, strong analytical and organizational skills, proficiency with accounting software, excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, valid driver’s license, fluent English, and background/education verification.
