Job Summary
Controller responsible for hands-on oversight of daily and month-end accounting operations, leading the accounting staff, participating in the full accounting cycle, and delivering financial statements and analysis to senior management. Involved in budgeting/forecasting, payroll, inventory, compliance and human resources, and driving process improvements within the accounting function. Requires strong accounting background in manufacturing/distribution, ability to develop staff, and ERP optimization (MS Dynamics preferred). In-office role based in Long Beach, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong knowledge and/or work experience ideally within the manufacturing and distribution industry
- Hands-on ability to work in details of accounting records
- Ability to lead, develop, and train accounting staff
- Experience leveraging ERP systems to automate and improve accounting efficiencies; MS Dynamics highly preferred
