Job Summary
Controller leading the finance function in a manufacturing environment reporting to the CFO. Responsible for all core accounting functions (AP, AR, payroll, GL), month-end/year-end close, and external audits with strong internal controls. Own cost accounting, inventory valuation, and margin analysis; partner with operations to drive profitability and forecasting. Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and ERP enhancements (Dynamics NAV / D365) while guiding process improvements and automation. Build and mentor a high-performing finance team and collaborate with operations, supply chain, and executive leadership to influence strategic direction and operational performance.
Required Qualifications
- CPA designation is required
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership experience
- Background within manufacturing, distribution, or product-based environments
- Strong expertise in cost accounting, inventory, budgeting, and financial reporting
- ERP systems experience (Dynamics NAV / D365 preferred)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to partner across the business
- A hands-on leadership style with both strategic and operational capability
