Job Summary
Develop and manage store budgets in collaboration with store management and corporate finance, while monitoring financial performance against forecasts to identify variances and implement corrective actions. Prepare regular financial reports including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, and analyze data to uncover cost-saving opportunities or revenue enhancements. Oversee inventory control processes by monitoring stock levels, conducting regular counts, and reconciling discrepancies with the marketing team to minimize stockouts and overstock. Identify cost-saving initiatives to reduce expenses without compromising quality, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and coordinate with auditors during financial audits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience in financial management, preferably in a retail environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and make strategic recommendations
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Regular interaction with store management, staff, and corporate finance team
