Job Summary
Controller to lead financial management for a manufacturing plant. Responsibilities include ensuring the integrity of financial reporting and safeguarding assets, acting as financial business partner to the Plant Director and leadership team to evaluate financial impact of key decisions, developing facility and departmental measurement systems, providing timely analysis on actual monthly plant performance, conducting special plant studies, assisting in functional/company-wide studies, preparing plant forecasts and the annual budget, identifying cost savings opportunities and implementing solutions, supporting capital expenditure requests and post-completion audits, ensuring SOX compliance and audits, coordinating with the Materials Team to ensure inventory accuracy, supporting month-end close activities, actively participating on teams/projects, providing team leadership in line with CITE principles, and fostering a union-free or cooperative union relationship while honoring budget commitments. The role also emphasizes a safe and productive work environment and adherence to company principles, with relocation assistance provided for qualified candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of financial management or analytical experience
- Must have cost accounting experience
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or related discipline
