Job Summary
Controller to oversee Accounting and Reimbursement Departments, ensure adherence to Accounting Policy Guides, meet financial reporting deadlines, coordinate audits, refine systems for accounting controls, resolve discrepancies, and oversee preparation of financial reports, annual budget, and monthly closing. Collaborates with CFO on special projects. Responsibilities include coordinating the annual external audit, ensuring proper accounting controls, timely resolution of discrepancies in payment calculators, supervising preparation of net revenue, cost accounting, and reimbursement-related reports, overseeing the annual budget and monthly closing process, and working with the CFO on special projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Postgraduate degree preferred
- CPA certification highly preferred
- Essential accounting experience in a healthcare setting or industry
- Non-negotiable expertise in full cycle accounting with focus on month-end close and financial statement preparation
- Strong leadership skills
