Job Summary
Controller role providing financial leadership for OSCO Construction Group's rebar division in the Maritime provinces. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, budgeting with operations, cost control and margin improvement support for operational and commercial teams, coordination of year-end audit, and leveraging analytics to deliver actionable insights. Requires accounting degree (or equivalent) and CPA designation, minimum five years of financial accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne; involves collaboration across fabrication, detailing, and field operations with a compensation package including health, RRSP, and education bursaries. Location: Saint John, NB, Canada. Fully on-site with no remote work indicated.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in accounting (university degree or community college diploma with accounting concentration, or equivalent)
- CPA accounting designation
- Minimum five years of experience in financial accounting
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; JD Edwards Enterprise One experience would be an asset
