Controller

Controller leads all accounting activities for Comp EyeCare Partners, including general ledger, fixed asset accounting, and accounts payable, with responsibility for timely monthly financial statements and successful annual audit. Job entails mentoring the accounting team, implementing internal controls and GAAP-compliant policies, coordinating monthly results by entity/region/consolidated basis, and communicating financial data to stakeholders. Responsibilities include designing an organizational structure for the accounting department, overseeing month-end close, analyzing balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows, managing intercompany entries, leases, tax filings, and the audit process, and collaborating with Treasury and FP&A to support budgeting and forecasting. Required and preferred qualifications emphasize CPA, accounting degree, public accounting experience, and ERP systems expertise (Dynamics365); strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
