Job Summary
Controller to lead accounting operations, manage monthly/quarterly/annual closes, oversee audit processes, and drive process improvements. Responsibilities include developing the accounting team, strengthening internal controls, coordinating with external auditors, managing cash and treasury, and partnering with functional leaders to support financial planning and reporting. Requires CPA, a bachelor’s in accounting with prefered master’s/MBA, 3+ years in progressive accounting leadership, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with Excel and Sage Intacct (BI360 Solver). Based onsite at NACS Headquarters in Alexandria, VA with Hybrid in-office and remote-work days.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Active CPA license
- Minimum 3 years leading a progressive accounting team
- Experience managing audits and regulatory interactions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office products
- Working knowledge of Sage Intacct or similar accounting software
- BI360 Solver
