Controller - Manistee Area

Oversee all aspects of the accounting function, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP, while developing internal controls to safeguard assets. Manage annual budgeting and forecasting processes, lead the year-end audit process as primary liaison with external auditors, and provide strategic financial insights to senior management. Monitor inventory costs, production variances, and product profitability to optimize manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations. This role targets experienced Controllers in Manistee, MI, with a Bachelor's degree, CPA certification, and 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
