Job Summary

Experienced Financial Controller to lead accounting operations in a professional services law firm. Oversee day-to-day financial operations, trust accounting and compliance requirements, supervise two direct reports, process payroll and related reporting, administer retirement plan contributions and reporting, review client invoicing and billing, manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, reconcile multiple bank accounts, prepare financial reports for leadership, coordinate annual audits and insurance-related reviews, and collaborate with outside accounting professionals on year-end matters. Identify operational improvements and technology enhancements. Requires Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of accounting and financial operations experience, supervisory experience, and Advanced Excel skills. Experience with payroll administration, professional services, trust accounting, and legal accounting software is preferred.
