Job Summary
Controller responsible for consulting with the CFO on financial affairs, developing operating policies and procedures, and financial goals; manage the facility’s revenue cycle and general accounting operations; analyze facility income, expenditures, and revenue risk; implement/enforce CFO-directed policies; prepare month-end closing documents and analysis; ensure daily/bi-weekly analyses related to revenue cycles, staffing, and spending; reconcile census and balance sheet; collaborate on audit and reconciliation findings; requires Bachelor’s in accounting and at least 1 year as a Controller in a psychiatric healthcare setting; proficient in healthcare IT systems and GAAP.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- A minimum of one (1) year as a Controller in a psychiatric healthcare setting
- Thorough knowledge of computers with experience utilizing healthcare-based computer systems and commonly accepted business software applications, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Knowledgeable of GAAP
