Job Summary
Manage the general ledger, oversee accounts receivable and payable, and prepare financial statements while coordinating the monthly close and year-end closing. Monitor daily cash flow, arrange financing and insurance, and establish accounting practices according to GAAP and tax law. Review and approve timely payments, ensure accounts receivable are collected, and process payroll. Prepare forecasts, budgets, and financial reports required by regulatory agencies, including managing tax compliance for federal, state, and local obligations. Supervise the accounting team to maintain financial integrity and efficiency. This full-time, in-office role requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting, 5-10 years of commercial construction experience, and Sage 300 CRE proficiency, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8am to 5pm.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- 5-10 years of experience in a commercial construction environment
- Strong Leadership, effective problem-solving skills
- Self-starter with a positive attitude and ability to build a Team Culture
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work with all levels of management
- Strong computer skills in a Windows environment including advanced experience using MS Office suite
- Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines despite frequent interruptions
- Ability to prepare financial reports, statements, and projections
- Experience with subcontract agreements, lien waivers and job cost analysis
- Maintain a system of financial integrity and controls
- Strong work ethic and effective organizational and management skills
- Ability to maintain a high degree of integrity and confidentiality
- Must be able to work Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm
- This is an in-office position and not remote
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using Sage 300 CRE (Timberline) accounting systems highly desired
