Job Summary
Oversee all accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll review, and revenue recognition while executing month-end and year-end close processes. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, manage daily banking activities, and analyze financial results to support strategic decision-making. Develop and maintain internal control procedures, coordinate annual audits, and assist with tax compliance requirements. Serve as the primary accounting resource for Deltek Vantagepoint financial data and system improvements. Collaborate with project managers, operations leaders, and executive management on financial matters to drive process improvements and support company growth.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of accounting experience
- Significant hands-on responsibility for month-end close and financial reporting
- Previous experience in a Controller, Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, or Senior Accountant role
- CPA
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage a full-cycle accounting function
- Advanced proficiency in Deltek Vantagepoint
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Advanced proficiency in financial reporting tools
