Job Summary
As a key member of our leadership team, the Controller will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition. This role is ideal for a seasoned financial professional eager to shape and guide the financial health of the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration
- 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
- Proven working experience as a Financial Controller
- Experience with creating financial statements, general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
- Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data
Desired Qualifications
- CPA or MBA preferred
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g., SAP)
- Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like FreshBooks and QuickBooks
- Ability to strategize and solve problems with strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
