Job Summary
Lead complex accounting analyses for inventory and manufacturing activities across Hershey's facilities in Malaysia and India. Provide functional guidance on transaction implications, review financial reporting for accuracy and completeness, and serve as the key contact during audits and regulatory reviews. Drive process enhancements to strengthen internal controls and support Hershey's finance transformation and operating model redesign. Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, FP&A, and Shared Services teams to ensure compliance with US GAAP and SOX. Requires 5+ years of manufacturing accounting experience, strong SAP skills, and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience within manufacturing environments
- Strong inventory accounting and cost accounting experience
- Experience supporting multiple manufacturing locations or plant networks
- Advanced knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls
- Experience supporting SOX compliance and audit activities
- Hands-on SAP experience, including inventory and manufacturing accounting modules
- Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance leaders
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
Desired Qualifications
- CPA, CA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred
- CPA or equivalent certification
- Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry experience
- Experience working in multi-plant manufacturing environments
- Experience with process automation, Power BI, Copilot, RPA, AI, or SAP transformation initiatives
- Experience leading accounting transformation and continuous improvement programs
