Job Summary
Implement monthly/quarterly/annual financial results in accordance with GAAP, ensuring transactions are recorded in the proper accounting period. Develop, analyze, and interpret accounting information to appraise operating results, while establishing corporate accounting policies, processes, and internal controls for compliance. Oversee cash forecasting, liquidity management, and banking relationships; lead optimization of financial systems, workflows, and reporting capabilities. Support acquisition due diligence, purchase accounting, integration activities, and ongoing accounting for acquired businesses. Supervise accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bi-monthly payroll processes. Direct financial audits, maintain relationships with external auditors, and prepare tax distributions and returns. Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing accounting team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- CPA or equivalent accounting designation
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
- leadership responsibility within a PE-backed, multi-state entity
- experience leading accounting operations within complex ERP environment
- Technical expertise in U.S. GAAP
- Technical expertise in revenue recognition
