Job Summary
Manage cash flow, prepare monthly financial statements, and reconcile bank and general ledger accounts. Monitor revenues and expenses, create annual budgets, and analyze variances to advise management on financial objectives. Establish and audit internal controls for purchasing, cash handling, payroll, and inventories. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, licenses, permits, and leases. Successfully complete internal and external audits by coordinating with CPA firms. Hire, train, and supervise staff while directing all financial reports to meet weekly, monthly, and annual deadlines. Interact with the Executive Committee to ensure property operations remain on track.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 or more years of Hospitality Finance/Accounting experience
- Prior Controller or Director of Finance experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Must supervise 2 or more employees
- Must be proficient in Windows, company-approved spreadsheets, and word processing, and in the operation of all hotel-specific systems
