Job Summary
Lead and support month-end close and general accounting activities while overseeing revenue accounting to ensure accurate financial information. Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial statements and management reports, digging into data to identify inconsistencies and improve reporting quality. Pull information from multiple systems to support accounting needs and provide financial data for healthcare cost reporting. Supervise select team members and partner closely with the CFO on budgeting, audit preparation, and special projects. Work independently in a collaborative environment where priorities shift and you must adapt to unusual challenges rather than follow a rigid routine.
Required Qualifications
- solid knowledge of revenue, financial statements and month-end accounting
- advanced Excel and financial reporting skills
- ability to work with report-writing tools
- ability to dig into systems to get the information you need
- ability to work independently
- ability to be a collaborative partner to the CFO
- ability to supervise and develop others
