Job Summary
Controller responsible for overseeing financial operations including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting; manages fund accounting activities such as monthly investor distributions and annual financial statements, with coordination of K-1/1099 filings, audits, and regulatory reporting (including Regulation A/SEC). Leads liquidity management, cash management strategies, and collaboration with external CPA firms, auditors, and counsel; provides financial analysis and strategic input to executive leadership and develops team capabilities through training and process improvements. Requires Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting, 5+ years in tax accounting within public accounting (managerial preferred), CPA a plus, familiarity with GAAP, QuickBooks Office Pro, Excel, Word, and experience in private credit/private equity/real estate; strong leadership and detail-oriented mindset.
