Job Summary
Oversee accurate financial reporting, GAAP-compliant monthly/quarterly/annual statements, and strategic analysis for the executive team and board. Manage the annual audit process, internal controls, and treasury functions while supervising accounting staff and optimizing operations through automation. Lead tax compliance, including sales and income taxes, and drive process improvements across the organization. Manage acquisitions and long-term financial planning to support business growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- CPA license (active or inactive)
- 7+ years of accounting experience, showing role progression
- Public accounting experience
- SaaS experience
- Advanced spreadsheet user (both Excel and Google Sheets)
- Bachelor's degree, English major preferred
- The optimal candidate will very likely be located in the Tampa Bay area, with the ability to commute to our office in Odessa 1-2 days per week
- Travel 0-10%
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Public accounting experience strongly preferred
- SaaS experience strongly preferred
- Other preferred software experience: QBO, Chargebee, Chargebee RevRec, Teampay, Avalara, Zuora
- Advanced spreadsheet user (both Excel and Google Sheets)
