Job Summary
Strategic Controller to lead accounting operations (GL, AP, AR, payroll, treasury, close) and to architect scalable financial infrastructure for a fast-growing organization. Responsible for accurate monthly/quarterly/annual reporting, GAAP compliance, internal controls, and partnering with executives, auditors, tax advisors, and external stakeholders. Drive automation and AI-enabled workflow enhancements to increase efficiency and insight, develop executive-level dashboards and KPI visibility, manage cash and liquidity, and mentor a high-performing accounting and finance team while supporting strategic initiatives and governance as the company scales.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience in high-growth or rapidly scaling organizations
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; CPA
- Demonstrated success building and evolving financial infrastructure in dynamic environments
- Deep understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting operations
- Experience leading audits and managing external accounting relationships
- Strong systems orientation with experience implementing scalable processes and financial technologies
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders in ambiguous, rapidly evolving environments
