Job Summary
Controller to oversee all financial, accounting, reporting, and compliance functions for an organic produce company; lead month-end close, general ledger, inventory accounting, A/R/A/P, payroll, budgeting/forecasting, cost controls, and profitability analysis; ensure GAAP/tax compliance, PACA applicability, and coordinate with operations, procurement, logistics, and sales; supports year-end engagements with CPA; salary DOE with full benefits; no relocation or hybrid work.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CMA strongly preferred
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a Controller role
- Industry experience in produce, perishables, agriculture, distribution, or food/CPG - REQUIRED
- Bilingual in Spanish/English - preferred
