Job Summary
Controller role partnering with the VP of Finance to lead and strengthen the accounting function in a growth-oriented manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include owning the month-end close and general ledger, ensuring audit-ready financials, strengthening reporting and leadership insights, building scalable accounting processes, and driving automation and system improvements. The role also involves leading and developing a small accounting team, coaching for growth, and growing into cost accounting with exposure to standard costing, variance analysis, and cost insights in collaboration with operations.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of accounting experience in an inventory or cost-driven environment
- Strong ownership of month-end close and GL processes
- Experience supervising or mentoring others
- Strong Excel skills and ERP experience
- Solid understanding of GAAP
- CPA or Master’s preferred
