Job Summary
Maintain regional finance, accounting, and administrative functions while overseeing month-end closes, bookkeeping, and financial controls. Manage project cash, including payments, invoicing, and shareholder drawdowns for construction costs, and prepare all financial reports for shareholders and lenders. Review capital needs, coordinate financing agreements, and manage annual audits and financial models. Advise the General Manager and Board on financial risks, business plan targets, and legislative impacts, while overseeing tax advisors and consultants. Stay current with US GAAP standards and risk management protocols.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or Business
- Strong understanding of operational accounting
- Active CPA certification
- Strong Excel skills and understanding of complex financial models and analysis
- Proven ability to plan, organize, and prioritize effectively
- Proven ability to perform in a management capacity
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Thorough knowledge of financial management
- Ability to interact with colleagues in a small, self-managed team structure
- Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment within a small team
Desired Qualifications
- 7-10 years' experience in project finance or construction accounting
- Telecommunication, fiber optics, infrastructure or broadband
