Own the accounting function end-to-end, including the monthly, quarterly, and annual close, consolidation, cost accounting, and compliance across five states. Supervise direct manufacturing cost accounting, inventory valuation, and standard/actual cost true-ups within a multi-facility production environment. Apply GAAP standards for inventory, leases, revenue, stock comp, and income taxes while documenting memos and SOPs. Lead the annual financial statement audit, coordinate with external tax advisors on cannabis-specific positions, and ensure compliance with state regulators and senior lender covenants. Maintain and improve the Acumatica ERP and surrounding finance stack design, enforce internal controls, and manage the onshore and offshore accounting team. This hybrid role requires a location within 1.5 hours of the Northampton, MA office.
