Job Summary
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes across multiple entities while ensuring timely preparation of consolidated financial statements. Oversee account reconciliations, accruals, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions to maintain general ledger integrity. Serve as the primary accounting partner to the CEO, providing actionable financial visibility into profitability, cash flow, and operational performance. Build scalable accounting infrastructure, optimize ERP systems like Sage Intacct and ServiceTitan, and establish standardized controls across the platform. Support acquisition due diligence, integrate acquired businesses, and manage external audits and tax compliance. Balance accountability with entrepreneurial cultures to foster a service-oriented finance organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience leading accounting functions in multi-entity environments
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- CPA strongly preferred
- Experience with ERP implementations and system integrations
- Home services, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or field service industry experience preferred
- Private equity-backed, acquisitive, or high-growth company experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Sage Intacct and ServiceTitan strongly preferred
- Service-oriented leadership
- Relationship building and credibility with operating leaders
- Strategic thinking paired with hands-on execution
- Strong communication skills with financial and non-financial audiences
- Change management and process improvement orientation
- Technology-enabled accounting and reporting mindset
- Inventory and operational accounting expertise
- Ability to build scalable infrastructure in a growing platform
- 2-3 days per week in the office
- Clearwater/Tampa, FL area
