Job Summary
Plant Controller role responsible for financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to support Anderson, SC manufacturing leadership. Partners with operations to analyze costs, productivity, and profitability; drives cost reductions, process improvements, and automation of financial reporting. Key duties include monthly closes, variance analyses (production output, material usage, scrap, labor, costs), contribution margin and profitability analyses, and ad hoc management presentations. Requires US GAAP knowledge, internal controls, cross-functional collaboration with operations and leadership, advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency, and a proactive, solution-driven mindset.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing finance, plant controlling, or cost accounting
- Automotive manufacturing experience
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis
- Strong understanding of plant operations, production costs, and manufacturing KPIs
- Knowledge of US GAAP and internal control processes
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with financial systems and reporting tools
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
