Job Summary
Lead the accounting and finance function across multiple operating companies and locations. Oversee consolidated financial reporting, develop dashboards, and manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow. Standardize accounting processes, lead intercompany accounting, and monitor working capital while ensuring GAAP and tax compliance. Coordinate external audits, support acquisitions through due diligence, and partner with operational leaders to improve profitability. Build and mentor a high-performing finance team. Work 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday at the West Fargo Headquarters.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from an accredited college
- 5+ years of leadership experience within manufacturing, construction, industrial or project-based businesses
- Active CPA license or willingness/ability to pursue
- Experience supporting organizations with multiple locations and multiple entities with decentralized operations
- Experience with inventory accounting, job costing, and operational finance
- Mergers and acquisitions experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems serving manufacturing and construction environments
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
- Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools
- Strong familiarity and experience with local/state/federal tax and compliance tasks
- A high degree of personal integrity, strong professional judgment, and positivity
- Organizational abilities to track multiple deadlines and reporting requirements
- Strong desire to learn and grow, and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to suggest and implement process improvements
- Ability to lead and communicate effectively, orally and in writing, and have good public relations skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
- Strictly follows safety policies, rules, and safe work methods
- Promptly corrects or reports safety hazards or unsafe conditions
- Promptly reports injuries for diagnosis and treatment
- Makes regular suggestions for safety process improvements to support continuous improvement in safety

- Experience with manufacturing, construction, industrial and related industry knowledge and experience, including job costing, bills of materials, inventory valuation and costing, and work-in-progress
